in conversation With Tahira Yaqoob
Reeta Chakrabarti is a Chief News presenter and correspondent for the BBC. She presents the Six and Ten O'Clock News on BBC1 and also reports extensively at home and abroad. High profile assignments have included the war in Ukraine, the Gaza war from Jerusalem, and the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh.
She is also a regular presenter on the BBC's General Election nights. She is a patron of Pan Intercultural Arts. Her debut novel Finding Belle was published by HarperCollins in May.
Reeta Chakrabarti’s first novel, Finding Belle, is a beautiful surprise. From this most poised and cool of broadcasters comes a gripping story of family betrayal, full of passion and anger. I found it moving and memorable.
